Gynecological cancer screening is one of the most important preventive examinations for women. At our OB/GYN practice, we offer comprehensive screening services that go beyond standard insurance coverage.

Preventive Screening and Advanced Diagnostics

German statutory health insurance provides age-dependent screening examinations. We are happy to offer additional diagnostic services upon request. Using vaginal and breast ultrasound, the improved Pap smear technique (ThinPrep), and HPV and Chlamydia testing, we can detect conditions that are not initially covered by standard cervical cancer screening, giving you greater peace of mind and enabling early treatment.

Certified Dysplasia Consultation and Colposcopy

Mr. Zamperoni offers a certified dysplasia consultation for the prompt and thorough evaluation of abnormal Pap smear results. Colposcopy involves examining the cervix under high magnification to identify cell changes at an early stage. When necessary, he also performs conization – the cone-shaped removal of abnormal cervical tissue – as an outpatient procedure to prevent cervical cancer.

Breast Diagnostics (DEGUM II)

Our breast ultrasound meets the DEGUM II standard, providing high-resolution imaging of breast tissue. This examination complements mammography and is particularly valuable for patients with dense breast tissue.

Additional Screening
